Since 2017, we have worked in conjunction with Brightwater Care Group (BCG) to create environments which reflect their philosophy of person-centred care.
A thorough understanding of domestic scale and enabled environments was essential to this project, as was achieving a continuous residential aesthetic and high-quality finish across their property portfolio.
The key to achieving consistency was firstly developing their Residential Aged Care Design Guidelines. This allowed for seamless application of best practice dementia principals while creating a cost efficient, quick reference guidebook for future maintenance and refurbishment.
The guidelines were tested for the first time on this project at Onslow Gardens and endorsed by the Executive team—they’ve proven to be a critical tool for streamlined decision-making.
