Lotterywest

MKDC worked with Lotterywest during a major business reform and provided briefing advice and spatial analysis options to reflect various states of ABW.

Lotterywest adopted a dedicated plan, with flexibility to shift to ABW workspace in the future as required.

Providing a more agile physical environment has allowed Lotterywest to truly embrace a culture of teamwork, innovation and collaboration. The open workspace enjoys great views and an abundance of natural light, with all built form positioned away from the perimeter glazing.

Visitors arriving to the reception are greeted by a curved white corian reception desk, supported by a contrasting black steel base. The composition of the space is timeless and achieves a new level of sophistication. Timber veneer and a unique rope installation bring warmth to the space, wrapping around and making a feature of the high meeting table. Surrounding this, a variety of soft and flexible furniture allows the space to be used comfortably by groups and individuals, some sitting areas offering more privacy than others depending on the client’s needs.

The staff hub, inspired by the concept of ‘street food’, is an immersive and energetic space that feels more like a busy café, than an office. Full height wall graphics contrasting with bright pendant lights sit in perfect proximity to detail the curved cabinetry. A variety of seating including high stools and booth seating gives the space an added dimension of flexibility; and with access to an expansive outdoor terrace and seating area, there is opportunity for Lotterywest to host functions and internal social events and barbeques.
