Occupying 1560m2, across Levels 25 and 26 of Governor Stirling Tower, the new Colliers International office sets out to provide a unique and innovative work typology that represents their brand, promotes knowledge sharing and increased staff interaction. The material palette employed creates a sense of subdued warmth, promotes intelligent interaction and principles of sustainability. MKDC were able to incorporate key design principles to effectively apply sustainable practices within the workplace. This was achieved through workplace education, conscious selection of low VOC materials, space planning, motion sensor lighting, energy efficient appliances and effective window treatments. Integral to the success of the design was the seamless integration of new technologies, used to create a series of diverse and inviting spaces including interactive walls and media pods. Follow-me-printing, smartboards, digital room booking systems and wireless connectivity all work together to support current and future staff, providing a flexible workplace model.
